operation christmas child
First Christian Church is the host church in Stephenville for the Operation Christmas Child boxes which are collected in our community during November and then taken to the regional processing location. Church members also volunteer at the Fort Worth/Dallas OCC processing center where the boxes are prepped for shipment to children all around the world.
water harvest international
In 2012 our church raised money to sponsor a new water well in South Sudan. This gift of life provided an entire community with clean water.
week of compassion
Week of Compassion is the relief, refugee and development mission fund of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in the United States and Canada that seeks to equip and empower disciples to alleviate the suffering of others through disaster response, humanitarian aid, sustainable development and the promotion of mission opportunities.
